Welcome to the North East Cheshire Lawn Tennis League (NECLTL).

We are situated in and around the North East Cheshire and South Manchester regions, and have 42 Clubs playing across 12 men’s and 10 women’s divisions. With a combined 241 women’s and men’s doubles teams, we play a lot of competitive tennis during the summer months! If you live in these regions there will be a club near you. 

We have planned a full tennis agenda for the 2026 season. From the beginning of April until the end of July, a total of 1259 doubles matches will be played in the League. In addition, we have the Acton Cup and Plate, an inter-club knockout competition for mixed, women’s and men’s doubles and women’s and men’s singles, culminating in the finals to be played on Sunday 6th September (venue tbc). Also, the Rose Bowl, our annual one-day inter-club competition, will take place at Prestbury Tennis Club on Saturday 18th July commencing at 12 noon.
