At the NECLTL AGM in November 2024, all clubs voted and approved the changes to Rule 20. This means that a player can now only play up THREE times for a higher team(s) instead of FOUR times. On the fourth occasion of playing for a higher team(s) a player cannot then play back down for a lower team without being penalised. This new rule comes into effect from the 31st of March 2025, (the start of the new season). It is very important that all captains read and understand this Rule.
